From Huddersfield :
take B6108 to Meltham, turn right in town
centre down Station Street. At the bottom of
the hill turn right into Mean Lane parallel
with Safeways. Turn second left up to Sports
Centre.
From Sheffield: Go to
Holmfirth. At the traffic lights at the T
junction, turn left towards Oldham. After
approx half a mile (or less) take the
right fork passing uphill and follow
this road until reaching a large public
house on the right. Turn immediately right
after the pub (Thick Hollins Road- B6107)
and follow that road straight on until
reaching Meltham. . Continue through the
town on Station Road(still the main road)
and as you start to exit the town on
Slaithwaite Road turn 2nd right into Mean
Lane. Turn 2nd left to the sports centre

M62 Motorway. From Brighouse Town Centre take the A641
towards Bradford for approximately 1½ mile. 50 yards
after the Martindales Nest PH take a right turn down
Russell Way. The Clubhouse and car park is located at
the bottom of the road.

:
M62 or A52 to Chain Bar Junction 26 then
A638 Dewsbury sign through Cleckheaton to
dual carriageway then right into car park.
From Bradford:
M606 to Chain Bar then as above.
From Huddersfield :
A62 to Junction A638 Bradford Road, turn
left past the baths then turn left into car
park.
From Sheffield
M1 to Junction 40 and take
the A638 towards Dewsbury and onwards
towards Cleckheaton. After passing through
Heckmondwike keep on the A638 when it
becomes Bradford Road.
The Ground is on the left ...

at the only traffic lights in Queensbury by
the Stags Head pub, turn right (from
Bradford), left (from Halifax) and straight
across (if coming from Brighouse).
Ground is quarter of a mile on left.
From the South (Sheffield) -
Leave the M1 at junction 42,
then at roundabout take the 1st exit, then
join the M62 motorway (signposted
Manchester, Bradford, Leeds West, Airport)
Leave the M62 at junction 26 (signposted
M606 Bradford, A58 Halifax), then at
roundabout take the 6th exit, then join the
M606 motorway (signposted Bradford M606)
Entering Cleckheaton
Leave the M606 at junction 3, then at
roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the
A6177 (signposted Ring Road West, Hospitals)
Entering Bradford
At traffic signals continue forward onto
Smiddles Lane - A6177 (signposted Ring Road,
Bradford Royal Infirmary)
At traffic signals turn left onto the
A647 (signposted Queensbury, Halifax)
Turn left onto Chapel Lane
Changing rooms are just beyond on football
field overlooked by the Pineberry Pub. (The
Pineberry can be seen on this
map )

junction. Take 3rd exit on roundabout
(signposted city centre and ring road).
Straight ahead at next roundabout for approx
3 miles, going through three sets of traffic
lights. AT fourth set (Four Lane Ends) turn
left and after approx 1 mile turn left again
into Leventhorpe Lane
Or look for BD13 3LQ on
multimap.
From Sheffield the easiest is
follow the A629 through Huddersfield and
Halifax head towards Keighley and Thornton
is signposted to the right.

follow the M1 north
At M1 junction 43 continue forward onto the
M621 (signposted leeds centre) at junction 3
continue forward (signposted Manchester M62)
leave the M621 at junction 2 (signposted
A643 Morley), then at roundabout take the
3rd exit onto the A643 (signposted Wetherby)
entering Leeds
branch left (signposted Wortley); bear left
onto Wortley lane - A58
at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto
Whitehall Road - A58 (signposted Halifax)
turn right onto Dragon Drive (next to the
DragonHhotel our headquarters)
turn right onto Dragon Road, follow road to
the left then a sharp right, you have
reached the Dragons Lair.
From the West:follow M62
bear left onto M621 (signposted M621 Leeds)
joining the M621 motorway
leave M621 at junction 1 (signposted A6110
Leeds west) then at roundabout take the 1st
exit onto ring road Beeston -A6110 entering
Leeds
at traffic signals continue forward
at roundabout take 3rd exit onto Royds Lane
turn right onto Whitehall Road - A58
turn left onto Dragon Drive (just before the
Dragon hotel)
turn right onto Dragon Road, follow road to
the left then a sharp right, you have
reached the Dragons Lair.

Take the A616 through Stocksbridge (Don't
forget the Middlewood Road is closed before Oughtibridge)
When you reach the Flouch crossroads (Speed cameras
galore on that road) head for Huddersfield. Flouch pub
on your right. Follow the road down the hill and under
the bridge and at the FIRST crossroads (HAZELHEAD) turn
left for Holmfirth. Follow the road past the Fox House
and continue until you pass Longley Farm on your left
(Wind Turbine on hill to the right) Go down the hill and
immediately after sharp left hand turn (approx 1 mile)
the ground is on the left up a steep farm entrance
