Where are we....how do you get here................?

Based at Hillsborough Arena the club is situated in the top corner of Hillsborough Park, off Middlewood Road at the junction with Hawksley Avenue. Follow the signs for Proctor Place and Hillsborough shops and then Hillsborough Arena. If you have any problems finding the Arena, give us a call and we'll be happy to give you instructions!

As far as public transport goes, the Arena is well served by both buses and the Supertram. The 'Yellow Route' Supertram bound for Middlewood stops very close to the Arena. Alight at the 'Hillsborough Park' stop, and the Arena is a couple of minutes walk away -- just head down the newly laid drive to the right of the park boundary, and you can't miss us!

From the M1 coming South: Get to Junction 36 and follow the signs for Sheffield (A61). You go past a JET petrol station on your right. Keep straight on until you approach The Norfolk Arms on your left. An active speed (30mph) camera 50 yards further on. Follow the road on through traffic lights and down dual carriageway (speed 30mph). Another speed camera shortly after you hit the 40mph zone, followed at traffic lights with a “red” light camera. Follow main road under the railway bridge (dual carriageway and 30mph) to the roundabout. Take the 3rd exit and drive down Leppings Lane with Sheffield Wednesday Ground on your left. Get into left hand lane at traffic lights, go left and then get into right hand lane for next lights. Turn right, over speed humps (3) into left lane at traffic lights. Turn left with Hillsborough Park on your left. At the end of the railings turn left and proceed down the drive (2 speed humps) to the Arena.

From “Woodhead Pass” direction. : Come through Stocksbridge, Deepcar and Oughtibridge following the main road until you see the tramstop “Middlewood”. Care prior to here as there is a 40mph area with speed camera. Follow the tram lines until reaching Hillsborough Park on your left. At the end of the railings turn left and proceed down the drive (2 speed humps) to the Arena.

PLEASE NOTE THE ROAD IS BLOCKED JUST AFTER OUGHTIBRIDGE AND YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW DIVERSIONS AROUND THE BACK VILLAGES UNTIL MID 2008. IT WILL BE EASIER TO CARRY ON THE A616 TO WORTLEY TURN OFF THEN at the junction with the main road turn right, over the link road, turn right as if going back onto the link road, but take the left hand turn (Woodhead Road). Follow that until you drop onto the main road in Hillsborough. Turn right at the junction to the roundabout and then Take the 3rd exit and drive down Leppings Lane with Sheffield Wednesday Ground on your left. Get into left hand lane at traffic lights, go left and then get into right hand lane for next lights. Turn right, over speed humps (3) into left lane at traffic lights. Turn left with Hillsborough Park on your left. At the end of the railings turn left and proceed down the drive (2 speed humps) to the Arena.

From the M1 coming North: Turn of the M1 at Junction 33 and follow the City Centre signs. At major roundabout follow the A61 North signs. (5th exit). Ponds Forge on your left. Keep to the left hand lane and follow the road to the next roundabout. Take the 2nd exit and follow the road until the traffic lights on a slight rise. Take the right hand lane and sort of go right, following the main road. 30 mph zone with speed cameras! MECCA Bingo on your left, Morrisons and KFC and Pizza Hut all on left. Owlerton Stadium on your right. As you approach Hillsborough Leisure Centre on your right you need to take left hand lane and fork left at traffic lights. At next set of lights, left again over the speed humps (3) into left lane at traffic lights. Turn left with Hillsborough Park on your left. At the end of the railings turn left and proceed down the drive (2 speed humps) to the Arena.

From the South and through town, get to Ponds Forge and as above.
